We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, creative and caring Activities Coordinator to join our team and help create a positive, engaging and stimulating environment for the residents.

You will need to be flexible to work 5 days from 7 and must be able to work hours between the times of 8am to 7pm to accommodate for any planned activities taking place during these times.

***Drivers Licence is Essential***

Role Overview:

As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the well-being of our residents by designing and delivering a wide range of activities that promote physical, mental and emotional health. Your creativity, energy, and passion for helping others will help ensure that our residents have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, organise, and deliver a variety of activities that are tailored to the individual needs, interests and abilities of our residents
· Encourage and support residents to engage in activities, ensuring their participation and well-being
· Maintain accurate records of residents' activity preferences and involvement
· Work closely with the care team to identify residents' needs and incorporate their personal interests into the activity schedule
· Foster an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere where all residents feel valued and respected
· Organise special events, outings and themed days to bring joy and excitement to our residents
· Promote social interaction and help residents build meaningful connections with others

Qualifications & Experience:

· Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable but not essential
· A genuine passion for working with the people with various support requirements, and creating a positive environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Creative, organised and able to work independently
· Ability to adapt and think on your feet in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
· A level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or an activity-based qualification would be an advantage, but not essential
